Installation

Our equipment is designed for easy installation and utilizes equipment posts or foundation bolts secured into the ground by concrete footings. Maintenance crews and construction laborers can easily perform this work, but non-professionals and volunteers can complete the installation as well. We provide you with detailed specifications showing the minimum installation requirements, and can answer any questions you may have. Our equipment has been inserted into various environments, ranging from home backyards to beaches to cruise ship decks! TriActive America recommends that you and/or your installers read all documentation completely before assembling and putting the equipment into the ground. We can direct you to companies in your area that can perform the installation, or put you in touch with professional organizations such as the International Playground Contractors Association, a resource for skilled contractors.

Surfacing

Depending on the scope of your project or the specifications required by the region in which you are installing this equipment, you may be required to provide safety surfacing beneath each piece of equipment. Because of the variation in project requirements and surfacing types (e.g. wood chips, rubber tiles, etc.), we are available to assist you with your project and any surfacing questions. A useful resource, particularly with regards to child safety on public equipment, is the "Handbook for Public Playground Safety” available online from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). While our fitness equipment is not playground equipment, some entities will use these specifications to govern its installation. For more information, feel free to contact us.
