Healthiest and Unhealthiest States in the Nation

Want to be healthy?  Move to Vermont, not the south, according to new research on the healthiest and unhealthiest states.

The United Health Foundation releases an annual report of the health state of the nation.  The healthiest states when it comes to obesity: Connecticut, Vermont, Nevada, Rhode Island, and New York rank high.  At the bottom as the fattest states in the nation:  Alabama, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
