Our TeamWant to meet the people responsible for bringing you TriActive Fitness equipment?! Layer1 div
![]() Bruce CarsonCo-Director of SalesMy daily exercise plan brings me to a busy, stuffy traditional gym just because it is convenient and a great way to control stress during the workday. My favorite exercise is outdoors with my kids: we love to hike the local hills along the California Central Coast, swim together, play golf and ride our bikes to the beach. That is what it is all about: family, sun and fun. ![]() Joanne EglashDirector of CommunicationsI was raised by parents who banned television from our house until my brother and I were both in our teens. As a result, I learned early in life to view exercise as a form of fun and recreation. Today, I enjoy exercising at local parks - we're fortunate enough to have one of TriActive's Fitness ZonesTM near our office. It's a free outdoor gym that brings the community together to socialize and get healthy, from children to teens to adults to seniors! ![]() John GaydosProduct EngineerI love working for a family-oriented business - one which allows me time to pursue a passion that keeps me somewhat fit. Right now my exercise life is all about soccer: I coach [loudly], play [poorly], and watch [enthusiastically] whenever and wherever I can. I coach two adult women's soccer teams and an Under 15 Girls traveling team. So including the women in my personal life, that's a total of 59 women that I report to! ![]() Adrian HongoDirector of Product Research and DevelopmentI will try to play soccer/football/futbol until the medical world says my legs must be removed. Then I will seek a way to get new ones. With my new legs I will join an adaptive, international soccer league for which I must travel to promote and play in. My children will be born speaking 3 languages, able to kick with a vengeance and throw their pacifier with both hands, then later discover ways to live beneath the ocean while developing a tap for the fountain of youth. Because we can all dream... ![]() Chris LitvinchukCo-Director of SalesGrowing up I played all kinds of sports: basketball, baseball, soccer, track, you name it. But it was basketball that really grabbed my interest for exercise and athletics. The competition, pace of the game, training, and teamwork were what I was drawn to. I was and still am a sports junkie. I need my daily dose of Sports Center and I live for college basketball. When I am not watching, coaching, or playing basketball I enjoy running, working out at the gym and spending time with my family. ![]() Jim ReedWarehouse ManagerMy daily exercise routine consists of 30 min per day on the rowing machine, and at least an hour playing outside with my 2 boys. (I still haven't quite figured out which is more tiring). Weather permitting, I like to take the family swimming and hiking through our local national parks. ![]() Jim SargenCEODuring the heat of the summer, I love swimming and using the pool to do my exercise. I have an aqua belt, floats, water weights and other like exercise aids. I can spend up to an hour and somehow the time seems to pass and I am never overheated. One thing that I have done is a lot of adventure-oriented travel. It has taken me to native habitat in central and South America, Asia, and tropical islands. Zodiac trips have allowed me to explore glaciers and ice fields in the south Atlantic, the Falklands and North Georgia Island, Antarctica and the islands of northern Norway. I have stood on a mountain top and seen the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Adventure travel fulfills my need for "discovery." ![]() Marc SargenChief Financial OfficerI've never understood why people want to exercise by going to a hot crowded room and do activities similar to a 1940's factory job. For me, I want to feel the sun and wind as I ski down the heights of snow-capped mountains or visit the ocean depths free diving. Even during quieter days, my young daughter and I can enjoy the warm sun as we rescue princesses while we take our walks and adventures around the neighborhood. ![]() Jason VarleyDirector of Business DevelopmentBeing a California native, I love doing anything that gets me outdoors. I find it hard to get inspired to go into a gym to exercise; I'd much rather do a trail run, go mountain biking or get in a game of beach volleyball. My current routine includes family jogs on the beach. Ever since my daughter was born earlier this year, my diet could be better but I'm trying to get in my 5 servings of fruit and vegetables each day. Having an office stash of chocolate doesn't help! Favorite bumper sticker: "Wag More, Bark Less". |
